It could be the caption to a New Yorker cartoon. Since my work requires me to be fanatical about the privacy of those who come to talk with me, for obvious reasons, I won’t be telling any fascinating clinical tales. I’ll be doing this anonymously at first.
I’ve been doing psychotherapy for 20 years, counting graduate school. I have recently finished my psychoanalytic training, which is a process approximately the magnitude of getting a second PhD. I have learned a huge amount about human nature, and I have a desire to apply what I know out in the great big world, beyond the consulting room. Read more »
